LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A victim of the Harvest Homecoming shooting feels relieved now that a suspect is in custody.
Police arrested a suspect, but the Louisville 20-year-old behind bars is not charged with the murder from that night.
"It was a movie," Brendan Hagan, a survivor, said about the night of the shooting.
Hagan took a bullet to the leg at the festival.
"I can't walk," Hagan said. "I mean, it's hard to sleep at night. I don't even have an appetite, just taking it day-by-day."
Hagan wasn't the only one injured that day. A single mother, Michele Nashi, was also shot. And, 18-year-old Bryce Gerlach lost his life.
"For the other boy that lost his life, I just hope they find good justice for him," Hagan said.
On Wednesday, police made their first arrest in the case, a Louisville man.
"I just hope they were getting the right people," Hagan said.
Joshua Smith, 20, confessed to shooting his gun into the air, while he was in the ride area at Harvest Homecoming.
"You're shooting around. You're shooting at metal rods and stuff. I mean, bullets are just reflecting off each other," Hagan said.
Police said two bullets were found at the New Albany YMCA.
Smith's bond was set at $500,000 cash for his charges of criminal recklessness, for shooting a firearm into a building, obstruction of justice, resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.
"I do feel a little relief that they actually got the person that was letting off the rounds. And that's big time," Hagan said.
Police said Smith admitted to selling the gun he used right after the shooting to a person for drugs and wouldn't release that person's name. Then, investigators said Smith said that person also sold the gun to another person and claims he doesn't know that person's name.
"Probably heard rumors about what he did with that gun, but, I mean it doesn't make sense for why he did it," Hagan said.
On Sunday morning, New Albany Police and other agencies conducted six raids in Southern Indiana and Louisville.
Residents tell WDRB News, the raids included locations at Monon Crossing Apartments, Bonnie Sloan Drive and East Oak Street in New Albany.

Police said they detained two people from those raids.
"I definitely do -- want justice for myself, because I am going through a very hard time," Hagan said.
While interviewing Smith, police said he told them he needed to go to the bathroom, but instead tried to escape.
They found him in the Floyd County evidence processing room, which was a dead end.
Police said Smith fought with officers as they escorted him back into New Albany Police Department, and kicked a smart board device that flew back into the wall causing damage.
"That's ridiculous. I was like, just thank but, I mean, I praise God, because, I mean, I'm still here another day with my son and my girlfriend," Hagan said.
Smith is scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 13 for a bail review hearing.
