LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed Tuesday evening in Louisville's Phoenix Hill neighborhood.
A little after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a stabbing at Dosker Manor in the 400 block of East Muhammad Ali Boulevard, LMPD Spokesman Aaron Ellis said. Upon arrival, police found a woman who had been stabbed.
Officers rendered aid before EMS arrived and transported the woman to the University of Louisville Hospital. Ellis said her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
LMPD's Domestic Violence Unit is investigating. Ellis said the known suspect in the crime is "outstanding."
