LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After 18 years, one Louisville Dairy Queen has lost its crown.
The store located on Bardstown Road near the Mid City mall has permanently closed.
Diary Queen officials tell WDRB the franchise shut down for good this past weekend.
The location first opened for business in 1997.
There's no word on why the Dairy Queen closed or what will open in the spot next.
