LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man in Mt. Washington turned a dying tree into a work of art.
Tyler Fenwick said the oak tree in his front yard was dying, and it was going to have to be cut down. Instead, he contracted chainsaw artist Derek Richardson to turn it into something incredible.
It took six days for the tree to become a knight. It's actually the chess knight featured in the movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
If you want to go see it for yourself, you can search in Google maps for Harry Potter Chess Knight and it will pop up.
Fenwick only asks people do not stand on the statue to try and best preserve it.
