LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some parents questioned why Jefferson County Public Schools held in-person classes Wednesday instead of using Non-Traditional Instruction.
People also took to social media voicing their concerns.

WDRB asked the district how the decision was made, even though there were icy and snowy conditions in the morning as students were headed to school.
A JCPS bus was involved in a crash on Interstate 264 West shortly after 7 a.m. JCPS spokesperson Carolyn Callahan said a car slid in front of the bus, causing the crash. No one was injured.
Callahan said the district's Operations Team monitors road conditions and weather forecasts and sends staff out early each morning to drive roads and report back on conditions.
Based on that information, Callahan said, JCPS decided to operate on a normal schedule.
"So far today, we have not seen anything out of the ordinary with accidents," Callahan said.
