LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Security has been increased at the Fort Knox Army post after an "unverified bomb threat" was made Wednesday afternoon.
A person of interest was apprehended by the Miami-Dade Police Department, according to a news release from the post. Officials say if anyone sees something suspicious, call 911. The post remained open throughout the afternoon.
Media Relations Officer Kyle Hodges said if anyone plans to enter the post, expect delays due to "heightened security measures."
