LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Funeral arrangements have been announced for a Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputy who died this week.
Deputy Devin Meriwether, a school resource officer at Seneca High School, died Monday after suffering an from an apparent heart attack, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Visitation is scheduled to take place on Monday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church Southwest, located at 8301 Saint Andrews Church Road. A service will then take place at 8 p.m.
A funeral service is set for Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. and will also take place at Southeast Christian Church Southwest.
Deputy Meriwether will then be buried at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.
He was a member of the JCSO Honor Guard Unit and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
