LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB/WAVE) — A new career lab in west Louisville offers a place to train for in-demand jobs.

Goodwill of Kentucky opened a new skills lab at its Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus on West Broadway. The lab was made possible thanks to a $400,000 investment from Aetna Better Health of Kentucky.

The four-year partnership will expand workforce development, career exploration and job-readiness opportunities.

The first cohort begins in August, with three weeks of classes to help participants learn to become a pharmacy technician.
