LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Not every specialty license plate is a good idea, and Indiana's list of rejected license plates is proof.
Fox59 reported this week the most frequently rejected plate requests for 2024 by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
There were 998 rejected plates in the year, and the most rejected plate was 15 various versions of "Hawk Tuah."
Many college rivalry plates were also rejected, like "IU SUX," Other rejections include:
- "F WORD"
- "ON METH"
- "MOOO0"
- "420MARY"
- "DUKE SH T"
- "NDSUX"
- "PUR DUCHE"
- "AZZH0LE"
