LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An event on Saturday will help the 2-year-old son of a Louisville Metro Police officer fight Stage 4 cancer.
Montana Green was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma shortly after his first birthday. His father, Malliccaaii Green, is a 10-year officer with LMPD.
Green's fellow officers and the Louisville Metro Police Foundation have come together to raise money for the family to help with medical bills.
The community can also pitch in during the "Hope for Montana" fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4-11 p.m. at the FOP Hall on Price Lane Road.
There will be a silent auction, buffet dinner, bounce houses, cornhole, a beer tent and bar, and the band Caribou will take the stage at 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased by clicking here.
