LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Residents living around Fort Knox should expect an increase in noise on Tuesday. 

In a Facebook post Monday, the army base said military training will occur during the daytime and nighttime hours on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Exercise training will involve aircraft, maneuvers and weapons firing.

Increased noise and vibrations may happened during this time.

Fort Knox said the training is "an important aspect of maintaining critical capabilities and readiness of all units."
