LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana legislators want answers about this year's ISTEP problems.
A legislative panel is studying why 78,000 students were frozen out of the test.
The panel will meet on Friday to hear from McGraw-Hill which has a four-year, $95 million contract to provide the test.
Some Senators say the company should pay the cost of the Department of Education study, and reimburse the state for some of the failures.
Lawmakers want to know what went wrong and why the provider ran into trouble administering the online portion of the test.
