LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man's truck sinks into the Ohio River and after police rescue him, they arrest him on drug charges.

On Friday, Harrison County, Indiana Sheriff's deputies and Indiana State Police troopers got a call about a submerged truck at the Mauckport boat ramp in Mauckport, Indiana, right across the river from Brandenburg, Kentucky.

When police arrived, they found a Ford truck mostly submerged. Officers said the driver of the truck backed too far down the ramp.

As crews pulled the truck out, police found the driver, James Schuppert, 61, had outstanding warrants on drug charges.

Schuppert was arrested on two felony meth charges and is being held in the Harrison County Jail.
