LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville couple that met at McDonald's celebrated their 50th anniversary at the restaurant.
JJ and Connie Boudreaux first met at McDonald's in New Orleans decades ago. The couple has lived in Louisville since 1979.
Connie worked at the restaurant and wrote her number on the back of JJ's Quarter Pounder receipt and gave it to him. JJ was a police officer.
Since that moment, JJ has called Connie his "Quarter Pounder with Cheese."Â
The couple recently shared a romantic dinner at the McDonald's on Breckenridge Lane in the Hikes Point neighborhood.
