LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The nation got to meet three Louisville firefighters who rescued a truck driver dangling over the side of the Second Street Bridge.
On March 1, a four-vehicle crash caused a semitruck to go through the railing of the Second Street Bridge. During a harrowing moment that has since gone viral nationally, Louisville firefighter Bryce Carden was lowered down to the truck to rescue the trapped driver.
Louisville firefighters Joe Berrow and Michael Renn were also part of that response.
All three were invited to The Kelly Clarkson Show for her "Rad Humans" segment, which aired Thursday, March 21 at 2 p.m. on WDRB.
