LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville judge is in trouble after posting on Facebook about a murder case.
The state judicial conduct commission says Jefferson County district judge Sandra McLaughlin shared a local news story on her official Facebook page in August of 2017.
McLaughlin commented on the post, saying: "This murder suspect was released from jail just hours after killing a man and confessing to police."
The commission says judges aren't allowed to make public comments about pending cases.
McLaughlin has received a public reprimand.
