LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A motorcyclist died in a crash on Newburg Road near the Watterson Expressway on Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a single-vehicle crash around 6:40 p.m. Ellis said a man was riding a motorcycle in the southbound lanes of Newburg Road when lost control. He was ejected from the motorcycle during the crash.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, but died of his injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
