LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An unexpected hero helped Louisville Metro Police find a missing child.
Officers rushed to help find a missing 3-year-old boy on Jan. 7, using a helicopter, drone and on foot.
Police went house to house, but a neighborhood dog approached an officer and led them to the boy, who was hiding inside an SUV.
The officer who found the boy said he has no idea where the dog came from, as he has patrolled the area for years and has not seen it before or since.
