LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new housing development will bring mental health services to Louisville's Russell neighborhood.

The first floor of Phoenix Place Hub will consist of therapy services, which will be open to the community.

The second and third floors will have eight new apartment units that will soon be home to 16 people.

Everything in the development — from the light fixtures to the murals — is intentional and meant to welcome people inside.

"Mental health affects and touches everybody," said DeOndrea Robinson, owner of Jump Start Realty. "It does not have a respective person, a respective race, a respective sex or any of those things. We are all-inclusive. If you need help, come to the Hub."

Phoenix Place Hub was made possible through Jump Start Realty. The development is located at 2001 West Chestnut St.
