LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Parks and Recreation and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife resources teamed up recently to build a new boat ramp at Shawnee Park.
The two-lane boat ramp and new parking area along Shawnee Park Road is expected to boost tourism for west Louisville while giving easy boating access to the Ohio River.
A grand opening will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
