LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 31-year-old woman died Saturday after she was ejected from her vehicle in a rollover crash on the Gene Snyder Freeway.

Louisville Metro Police responded around 6:15 p.m. to Interstate 265, the Gene Snyder Freeway, between Dixie Highway and Stonestreet Road on a reported crash, according to department spokesperson Aaron Ellis.

Police said a woman, identified Sunday as Kristen Mohr, was driving on the Gene Snyder from Dixie Highway and for unknown reasons left the road and went into the center median.

The car rolled over, and Mohr, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No other vehicles were involved.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating. The roadway was closed for a few hours due to the crash.
