LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No injuries were reported after a fire broke out Monday morning on Eastern Parkway near Norris Place.
Louisville Fire Department crews responded to reports of a home on fire in the 1800 block of Eastern Parkway at 5:37 a.m., according to a news release. Crews arrived three minutes after the call to find heavy fire and smoke coming through the roof of the house.Â
Firefighters entered the home from a rear entrance to extinguish the blaze. The home was searched and all occupants were safely evacuated.
It took 35 firefighters approximately 45 minutes to gain control of the fire, and extra equipment was needed.Â
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but arson officials are investigating.
