LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Heath department officials said there's no public threat after paint got into a New Albany, Indiana, creek Friday morning.

Floyd County Health Department officials said painters were painting the Southern Indiana Sports Center.

Crews were washing off the roof when aftermath of the paint went into the parking lot and made it into the creek.

The creek is located on Park E Boulevard, just off of Hausfeldt Lane and Grant Line Road.

Officials said the situation is under control after hazmat and fire crews responded to the area.
