LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hundreds of motorcycles roared into Louisville on their way to Washington D.C.
A group of over 300 veterans and supporters rode their motorcycles into Robley Rex VA Medical Center Wednesday morning. It's all part of the Run for the Wall.
Each year in May since 1989, riders come together to promote healing among veterans and to honor those killed in action.
Their journey is set to end in Washington D.C. Friday where the group will unite with other groups to form a parade from the Pentagon to the Vietnam Memorial wall.
"That's our motto, we ride for those who can't," veteran Scott Lewis said. "Whether they're too old and just physically unable or those who didn't return from war."
