LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Panchitos Ice Cream & Taqueria in the Highlands is closing after six years in business.

The restaurant's last day will be this Sunday, Oct. 29, according to a post on social media.

Panchitos said they decided not to renew their lease and want to focus on their ice cream shops.

The Highlands location served up Mexican desserts and tacos.

The owners said they hope to relocate the restaurant in the future.
