LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A special parade of cars honored a famous singer from the 20th century in Louisville on Monday.

The Mustang Rally for the singer of "Mustang Sally" rolled down Preston Highway. Some members of the Derby City Mustang Club wanted to honor legendary singer Wilson Pickett at his final resting place in Louisville.

The group drove Mustangs to Evergreen Cemetery. 

"The song "Mustang Sally," he recorded in 1966, later he was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame," said David Gravatte with Derby City Mustang Club. "The song "Mustang Sally" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame."

Pickett was from Alabama, but his mother move to Louisville.
