Pedestrian dead after hit-and-run near PRP

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash late Wednesday night near Pleasure Ridge Park.

Louisville Metro Police Sgt. Matt Sanders said 3rd Division officers responded around 11 p.m. to reports of a pedestrian hit on Global Drive and the Greenbelt Highway.

Sanders said the person died of their injuries.

The suspect's car was at the scene, but the driver was not there when police arrived.

There are no suspects in custody. The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
