LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A person is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Clark County, Indiana.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Mark Grube said they are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed on U.S. Route 31 at Coopers Lane in Clarksville Saturday night around 6:40 p.m.
Grube said Indiana State Police are also on scene helping with scene reconstruction. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police.
U.S. 31 between Progress Way and Coopers Lane was closed for about an hour.
