LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed early Tuesday morning near Hikes Point.Â
A man was was hit just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Hikes Lane. Â
Louisville Metro Police spokesman Officer Lamont Washington says the victim is a Hispanic male in his 30s or 40s. Â
He says a black Mustang was turning at the busy intersection and didn't see the man in the darkness and pouring rain. Â The driver stayed, but the victim died at the scene.Â
Officer Washington calls it an accident and says no charges are expected.Â
