A man hit while crossing South 18th Street in west Louisville died more than two weeks later, and the driver of the car remains at large.
It happened around 6 a.m. on Highway 3 near Harry Hughes Road.
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital and died shortly after arriving.
The woman was attempting to cross the street when she was hit.
The driver that hit the person was arrested on scene after showing signs of intoxication.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is conducting the investigation, due to the severity of the male's injuries.

According to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, the call came in around 6:22 a.m. of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on the Second Street bridge.
