LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man hit while crossing South 18th Street in west Louisville died more than two weeks later, and the driver of the car remains at large.
Louisville Metro Police said surveillance video shows the man walking westbound on West Broadway near 18th Street in the evening on Dec. 6, when an unknown dark-colored vehicle going southbound hit him. The man had severe injuries and was transported to the UofL Health Hospital.
LMPD said it was informed Tuesday that the man died. Police are investigating the crash and searching for the driver.
