LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed Wednesday night on Dixie Highway, according to Shively police.
Sgt. Jordan Brown with the Shively Police Department said officers responded to the accident just before 11 p.m. in the 4600 block of Dixie Highway, near Gagel Avenue.
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital and died shortly after arriving.
Brown said all parties involved remained at the scene and no criminal charges are expected.
