LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville bar and restaurant accused of allowing underage drinking had its liquor license suspended.
Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control issued an Emergency Suspension Order for Coconut Beach Tacos and Cerveza on Floyd Street, near the L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium and the University of Louisville campus.
The order was issued after an investigation with the Kentucky ABC found several underage people inside the restaurant with alcohol.
Metro ABC said the business was previously cited for violations involving minors. The agency said "the circumstances observed during this investigation were even more serious and warranted immediate action."
The case is still under investigation. The business hasn’t responded to a request for comment.
