LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — For Kim Brohm, the basketball court at Mercy Academy holds plenty of memories. Now, her name will be part of that court for years to come.

Mercy Academy dedicated its gymnasium court to Brohm, naming it the Kim Brohm '98 Court in honor of one of the school's standout athletes.

During her time at Mercy, Brohm played varsity volleyball, basketball and softball. She went on to attend Spalding University, where she continued playing all three sports at the varsity level for all four years.

Brohm is also the sister of University of Louisville head football coach Jeff Brohm.

Standing on the court with her name on it was a moment Brohm said she is still taking in.

"It's truly a big honor," Brohm said. "When I think back on my days in high school, they were one of the best times of my life. So, to have my name put on the court here, it's just truly humbling."

Brohm has continued to support Mercy Academy since graduating and remains connected to the school.
