LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two men arrested after a deadly shooting in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood will not be indicted in the case, at least for now.

Jose Hill and Brian Harvey were arrested in June in connection with the death of 44-year-old Clinton "CJ" Henderson. Police said Henderson was shot and killed June 4 on Elliott Avenue.

A grand jury reviewed the case earlier this month and returned a "no true bill," meaning it declined to indict Hill and Harvey.

The decision does not close the case. Prosecutors said they can revisit it if new evidence comes to light, and Louisville Metro Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
