LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed Tuesday night while trying to cross Breckenridge Lane.
According to LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders, officers were called to the 3000 block of Breckenridge Lane just before 10 p.m. on a report of a person down.
Police determined that the pedestrian was walking westbound and attempting to cross Breckenridge Lane when they were hit by a car. The car fled the scene prior to the police arriving, Sanders said.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
