7th Street Pedestrian fatal 7-6-19

Authorities say a man, believed to be in his 50s, stepped out into traffic.

SHIVELY, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Shively say a driver will likely not face criminal charges after hitting and killing a man early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the 3500 block of 7th Street Road, near Berry Boulevard, around 4 a.m.

Authorities say a man, believed to be in his 50s, stepped out into traffic.

The driver remained at the scene.

The name of the man who died has not been released.
