LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Robertson County Sheriff Terry Gray has stepped down, following several arrests for driving under the influence.
Gray was arrested in December 2023, August 2024, and most recently on Oct. 6, with the first two cases resolved through Alford pleas. His latest arrest involved allegedly driving over 110 mph and nearly colliding with a Mason County Sheriff’s Office vehicle responding to the situation.
Deputies said Gray’s truck nearly overturned before stopping in a field near a private driveway, according to FOX 56.
Earlier this week, Gov. Andy Beshear urged Gray to resign, warning that failure to do so would lead to his removal from office for neglecting his official duties.
Gray submitted his resignation Thursday.
