LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Sam Swope Auto Group has announced the retirement of Dick Swope, who is the company's president and CEO.

The company issued the announcement on Tuesday morning.

Patti Swope was named as his successor as President & CEO. She will also retain her current role as Chairman of the Board.

“We sincerely thank Dick for his 37 years of leadership, service and community involvement and wish him the very best. We're excited about this new chapter for Sam Swope Auto Group, and I personally look forward to continuing the legacy my father created by serving our customers with the very best products and services in the market," she said.

Officials have also said Cary S. Donovan and John D. Hill will each be named as Vice President of Operations for the Sam Swope Auto Group.
