LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Seymour, Indiana man is dead after a motorcycle crash in rural Jackson County, Indiana.

On Monday, April 8 about 3:45 p.m., a motorcycle traveling southbound on County Road 700 East near County Road 725 North, north of Seymour, Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles said in a statement. 

The driver of the motorcycle, 40-year-old Timothy Kerkhof lost control while taking a sharp turn onto County Road 725 North. Kerkhof was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead on scene Wheeles said.

An ISP Crash Reconstructionist was called to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
