LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The St. James Court Art Show began on Friday, and is expected to draw thousands of people to Old Louisville. Seven hundred juried artists are selling their work at the event.
Margue Esrock, the Executive Director of the show, told WDRB News, "We've got 36 states represented, and Canada, also." With so many artists attending and so much ground to cover, she recommended that visitors to the show pick up a program and wander among the booths. She also suggested making note of where your car is parked.
"Everybody has a different plan," she said, "so you make it your own."
Several of those attending had different items they were hoping to find. One woman wanted a picture that would go over her couch, while another was seeking jewelry.
