LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville chef Darnell "SuperChef" Ferguson is turning a local grocery store into a TV set for the pilot episode of his new show, "SuperChef versus Supermarket," and tickets are already sold out.

Filming will take place Jan. 10 at the ValueMarket on Outer Loop.

Ferguson’s series began on his YouTube channel, where he taste-tests and reviews grocery store brand products against name brands.

He judges items based on taste, nutrition and price, helping shoppers find the best value.

All tickets for the taping are sold out. Ferguson said proceeds will go to the local nonprofit Sowing Seeds of Faith.
