LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three suspects charged with the Derby night murder of a Canadian man appeared in court Thursday morning.

Tyrone Thomas, Fatima Abu-Diab and Fahed Abu Diab pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and drug charges.

A grand jury indicted them on May 13.

Police say the three were on a robbery spree when they killed 49-year-old Scott Hunter as he and a friend were walking to their hotel near the fair and expo center after the Derby.

Their next court appearance was scheduled for June 23.
