WDRB is trying something a little different than our regular white table cloth dining this week, by featuring the newest NULU addition, TACO PUNK. Located in the building that was recently TOAST on Market, TACO PUNK is a quick service Gourmet Taco Restaurant, owned and operated by a former chef at 610 Magnolia. It is very important to the owner, to offer the highest quality, local food ingredients, giving customers a gourmet on the go experience.
At TACO PUNK, you will find: house-made tortillas, pork shoulder simmered with chilies and pineapple, vegetables cooked in a pumpkin-seed mole, curried lamb, black beans and cheese and more - and garnishes like pickled onions, bright green slices of jalapeno, cilantro and shredded cabbage. There are other things as well: soups, seviche, salads, chips and salsa.
By featuring TACO PUNK on Be Our Guest this week, it gives you the viewers, the opportunity to experience the NULU(New Louisville) and East Market District. Have a gourmet on the go experience and enjoy all that NULU has to offer from great local shopping to great local art.
Look for amazing tacos, sides and soups made from local sources along with a beer and wine menu. Weekend brunch will soon follow!
