LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Department of Vehicle Regulation is warning teenagers about an issue with learner's permits.
KYTC Drive said in a Facebook post some 15-year-olds may soon get a new learner's permit in the mail.
A system error caused some recent permits to be printed without a residential address listed.
Officials said no action is needed from the teens, and the corrected permits will be automatically mailed to the address on file.
The department said it appreciates the community's patience as they work to correct the issue and make sure permits are accurate.
