LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A tree fell on a car with a driver inside near Manslick Road Wednesday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said a tree fell on a car at Palatka Road and Manslick Road around 4:20 p.m. That's near Iroquois Park.
Police said the driver was trapped inside and had to be extricated from the vehicle. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Mitchell.
Louisville Metro Public Works is on scene and attempting to remove the tree, which is blocking traffic.
