LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Paristown is getting two new residents this September: Highland calves that will become part of the district's events and attractions.
The calves are being called the "Paristown Moo Crew" for now. They'll eventually make appearances at festivals, concerts, farmers markets and family events.
Louisville residents can also help choose their names.
Paristown's naming contest opened Wednesday and runs through Sept. 16. People can submit a name along with the story behind their suggestion.
The winning names will be announced Sept. 16 at Paristown, where visitors can meet the calves in person.
The winner will receive VIP event tickets, a meet-and-greet with the calves and the title of official "Namer."
The calves will live in a custom-built stable behind Uncle Boojie's.
Name suggestions can be submitted online.
