LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A University of Louisville student has been hospitalized with meningitis.
The university said on social media Friday that the student was in "good condition" after being diagnosed with bacterial meningococcal meningitis.
U of L staid the student lives in an on-campus dorm, but his or her roommate hasn't shown symptoms.
The disease is contagious, U of L said, but it's only contracted through "respiratory or throat secretions."
