LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Kentucky broke ground for the largest academic building in school history.
The new Health Education Building will be home to the colleges of Medicine, Public Health, Health Sciences and Nursing.

With the new building, the university hopes to increase enrollment by 30% in order to generate thousands of future doctors and nurses.
The $380 million project was approved by the 2022 Kentucky General Assembly and is expected to open in 2026.
