LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A park on River Road was damaged by vandalism last weekend, according to Louisville Parks and Recreation.
Thurman-Hutchins Park's multi-purpose fields were damaged by vehicles that left tire tracks circling around the grass. The vandalism caused thousands of dollars in damage, according to Louisville Parks and Recreation.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tip line at (502) 574-5673.
"And hey, if you're just looking for something to do, we’ve got you covered," Louisville Parks and Recreation posted on Facebook. "From events and workshops to community programs, there are plenty of ways to get involved that don’t harm our parks."
